For our 7th CIRCE course, on the use of ICT for teaching classics, we go to Fano, a small seaside town on the Adriatic coast of Italy. In Roman times it was called Fanum Fortunae and was an important stop on the Via Flaminia. The course will take place in the Istituto Alessandro Volta, a secondary school not far from the hotels.

Participants will be staying in en-suite rooms in two sea-side hotels in Fano, within walking distance of the school and the city centre.
He course is organised by GO!, the state education network in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium.
The 2012 course will feature several new sessions, with a consideration of emerging internet technologies and so-called blended learning techniques, as we continue to assess developing media. We will also have time to discover the Roman heritage in the Marche region of Italy.

Information on the content of the course and on how to get a grant to cover all costs, please have a look at the flyer.

Deadline for a grant applications with the local LLP national agency is January 16th 2012.

Pre-inscriptions are possible on-line: http://tinyurl.com/circe12
